This tool is a walkthrough and review surface for the Step 8 NPG Living Lab workflow. It helps a group test whether an NPG can move from pod realities to one shared network-scale output, while making dependencies, timing, risks, and open questions visible.
How the system works
Workflow spine: the left rail shows the four recurring cycles: Grounding, Collaborative Building, Integration and Synthesis, and Redesign and Community Feedback.
Current step: the center stage explains the active beat, the expected timing, what must be true before it starts, what actions happen, and what should be reviewed before moving on.
Flow: the before-now-next strip shows where the current beat sits without pretending a missing previous or next step exists.
Cycle checkpoint: the right panel gives the review lens around the current step: total cycle window, active step window, cycle entry, cycle exit, and the decision reviewers should pressure-test.
Evaluation scenarios: what-if questions adjust the assumption levers and show where the workflow may become credible, fragile, or under-specified.
How to use it in a review
Move through the workflow one beat at a time. Mark each step as not tested, fragile, or ready.
Use thumbs up or thumbs down for a quick read, then capture comments, questions, or suggestions when the group finds a dependency, missing role, timing issue, or unclear decision.
Use the debrief export at the end to carry forward the review record into the next design pass.
